On the show tonight, Sam, Will, and Gerrit chat with Tom ahead of their show last weekend at Electric Picnic,  where they discussed the famous David Letterman appearance, how life has changed since their hit album, 'Singles' was released and the meaning behind Samuel T Herring's on stage theatrics.

Synth-pop outfit, Future Islands, released their fourth album last year to huge critical acclaim for tracks ' A Dream of You and Me, and Seasons (Waiting On You).  One of their first television performances was on The Late Show with David Letterman, from which frontman Samuel T Herring's fascinating stage moves have become an enjoyable spectacle in their live shows.

Also in the second half of tonight's show, we have musician and author, Rob Chapman, who will be joining Tom to speak about his latest book, Psychedelia And Other Colours.  The book begins with the origins of LSD before moving onto the drug's early impact on the west coast of America.  The book discusses social history, architecture, fashion. television and more.
