Coming up on the show tonight, we're celebrating the 75th birthday of the most influential American singer/songwriter of all time - Mr. Bob Dylan.

In this first hour, Tom will be joined on the show by biographer Howard Sounes to take us through Dylan's life, from his time growing up in Minnesota as a young Robert Zimmerman, through his folk days and into his electric years, and right up 'til the modern day where he continues touring and releasing albums like there's just no tomorrow.

Sounes is the author of 'Down The Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan' - one of the most comprehensive books on Dylan's life, and through the course of his research he interviewed over 250 friends, family and fellow musicians. The book gives a great insight into a man who has done an incredible job at keeping his own personal life well under wraps.

Then, in the second hour, singer/songwriter and author Britta Lee Shain joins Tom to give us an even deeper insight into the enigmatic life of Mr. Dylan. Britta was in fact a girlfriend of Bob's while she traveled with him on tour in 1985.

Britta’s memoir, Seeing The Real You At Last (Life And Love On The Road With Bob Dylan) along with her latest CD, What The Heart Wants was released May 3rd 2016 and is available to buy from her website.

For the first time in 2016, it's an absolute pleasure to be honoring the career of one of the world's most acclaimed living artists, contrary to the many commemorations of so many other distinguished musicians who have passed away already this year.

During the show, we'll also be giving away copies of Bob Dylan's latest album, 'Fallen Angels', which was released on Friday. Fallen Angels marks his 37th studio album, and consists of 12 tunes from the great American songbook, by artists such as Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn and Carolyn Leigh.
