Coming up on the show tonight, it's Richie McCormack in for Tom, and we have a great programme lined up for you.
Gaze International LGBT Film Festival Dublin kicks off in the Lighthouse Cinema this Thursday, and there are a couple of fascinating documentaries to look forward to - one of which is 'Strike a Pose', which receives it's Irish premiere at the opening gala.
The documentary tells the story of seven male dancers who joined Madonna on what would become one of the most controversial stadium tours in history, Blond Ambition, back in 1990. The film follows the dancers as they become icons of sexual freedom and liberated sexuality, are outed by the Madonna: Truth or Dare documentary, and then diagnosed with HIV. One of the surviving dancers, Kevin Stea, joins Richie just after 9pm tonight.
Strike A Pose is the opening film for The Gaze Film Festival this weekend - screening at the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin on Thursday at 8pm, and Kevin will be there to introduce the film at it’s Irish premier.
In the second hour, Richie will be joined by Mark Noonan, one of the organisers of Indiependence, which takes place in Mitchelstown this weekend. They'll be taking a look ahead at the festival, now in it's 11th year, and featuring a great selection of acts across the weekend.
Only day tickets are still available for Friday and Sunday but we'll be giving away a pair of weekend camping tickets on the show, so tune in and listen out for the question to be in with a chance of winning.
