Coming up on the show tonight, John Moynes joins Tom in studio to welcome another comedy great into our Hall of Fame. This week, they pay tribute to Ronnie Corbett who passed away last Thursday at the age of 85.
Corbett shot to fame in the late 60's, appearing on 'The Frost Report', before teaming up with Ronnie Barker in 'The Two Ronnies'. Said to have been 'Possibly the most robust long-running sketch show ever made' by the BBC, The Two Ronnies ran for 17 years in total. Corbett then went on to act in such sitcoms as 'No – That's Me Over Here!', 'Now Look Here' and 'Sorry!'.
In the second hour, Tom will be joined by none other than musician and party king, Andrew W.K. The entertainer has established a political party in America that aims to serve as a new alternative to the two party system.
His website states that "The Party Party is simple in its mission: To free the American people from the dysfunction that is our two party system. At best, partisan politics has created an insurmountable divide that has separated the people into two categories of Democrat and Republican. The Party Party aims to provide an alternative to the divisive labeling of our current system".
