On tonight's show we continue our exploration of David Bowie's remarkable career and pay tribute to the icon and how he touched so many of our listeners' lives.
Acclaimed filmmaker Julien Temple talks to Tom about his three major works with Bowie during the 1980s: the short film Jazzin' for Blue Jean, the feature film Absolute Beginners and the music video for Day In Day Out.
BBC producer Francis Whately also joins Tom this evening to discuss his upcoming documentary series Music Moguls: Masters of Pop. Part of this programme focuses on Bowie's extraordinary ability to promote himself and his mastery of PR. Whately is also producer and director of the acclaimed documentary David Bowie: Five years.
Again, we are looking for our listeners' stories about Bowie, from your experiences of his concerts to anecdotes relating to the great man himself.
