Novelist and singer-songwriter Willy Vlautin co-hosts The Tom Dunne Show tonight.

No stranger to the show, Willy Vlautin has been in studio with Tom before in our Back to Mine series. From his novel writing to music making, the I Won’t Slip Up songwriter shares presenting duties with Tom tonight.

Nevada-born, Vlautin, boasts the titles of both an author and songwriter of Portland band, Richmond Fontaine. A distinguished career.as a writer, he has penned four novels: The Motel Life, Northline, Lean on Pete and The Free, while also releasing over nine studio albums with acts since the nineties.

In recent years Willy has forged a solo career and one with alt-country band, The Delines, who have appeared on The Tom Dunne show before during an Irish tour. The Delines formed out of Willy Vlautin’s encounter with impressive Richmond Fontaine backing singer, Amy Boone, which later led to the band’s formation including members of The Decemberists.
