The second of Ireland's ODI series with the UAE, which was due to take place in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, has been postponed.
The announcement came on Saturday evening after the Emirates Cricket Board advised Cricket Ireland that another UAE player had tested positive for Covid-19.
Alishan Sharafu is the third UAE squad member to test positive after Chirag Suri and Aryan Lakra. earlier in the week.
The match is now set to be played on Saturday 16 January.

In a statement relating to the postponement, High Performance Director for Cricket Ireland, Richard Holdsworth said,
“The Emirates Cricket Board has advised us today of a further positive Covid test amongst its playing squad, and we have both agreed the safest course of action is to postpone the second ODI scheduled for tomorrow.
"We hope to play this match on the 16 January, all going well.
“All Irish players have tested negative. We appreciate the speed and transparency of Emirates Cricket to ensure that the health and safety of players, support staff and workers at the ground comes first.”
Despite a century from Paul Stirling, Ireland lost their first one-day international on Friday by six wickets.
Ireland set a target of 270 which the Emirates’ surpassed with an over to spare.
