Daft Punk have given their fans something to think about, with a fifteen second advert played in the US on Saturday night. That something, exciting as it surely was, will probably just drive fans mad though - sparse with information and mysterious as it is.

The clip was played during the comedy show, Saturday Night Live and showed just the Daft Punk logo, along with an image of the two DJs’ iconic headgear. A disco style track played during the ad and it has fans wondering if this might be the beginning of a publicity drive leading to another album.

Aside from the 2010 soundtrack for Tron: Legacy, Daft Punk have not released any new material since their 2005 hit album Human After All. Their fans are, understandably, waiting impatiently for news of new material.
