Don Conroy is a writer, a television presenter, an environmentalist and an artist.

His father, Daniel died when he was six months old, so his mother looked after Don and his three sisters: Maura, Breda and Tina, and his brother Séamus and they lived beside Herbert Park in Donnybrook, Co Dublin.

Don studied life drawings and culture at the National College of Art and Deisgn and then worked as a designer and illustrator for advertising agencies. He first appeared on television on the Late Late Show in 1982 and began life on Dempsey's Den in 1986.
