Chart veteran Engelbert Humperdinck has teamed up with Sir Elton John for the first time to work on a duet.

The pair used a studio in Los Angeles to work on the track - which is due to be released early next year.

The collaboration will appear on an album of duets being assembled by 76-year-old Humperdinck - 45 years after his first number one single "Please Release Me".

The crooner represented the United Kingdom at this year"s Eurovision.
