Gardaí are appealing for information on a major fire that broke out in Longford town centre over the weekend.
The fire at Grafton Court in the centre of town broke out shortly before 1.30am on Sunday morning.
Footage on social media showed the fire engulfing a large building at the end of the street.
Residents living in apartments above the fire were evacuated and the blaze was eventually brought under control by local fire services.
No injuries have been reported.
The scene remains sealed off this morning and forensic and technical examinations are being carried out.
Gardaí are now urging anyone with any information on the fire to contact them.
They are particularly interested in talking to road users who were in the area between 12am and 2am and may have camera footage.
It is understood several apartments and businesses were severely impacted by the fire.
