The micro-festival takes place this weekend in County Longford, with a lineup featuring The Stunning, Mick Flannery, and Fight Like Apes marking its fifth year running.
Last year 1,500 revellers raised €8,000 for Ataxia Ireland, and sales for this year’s event are already going strong.
Tickets for day-long event are priced at €40, which includes camping and a barbeque.
Helium was set-up and is run by volunteers to raise awareness of Friedreich's ataxia, a rare disease which affects the nervous system, in support of local Tom Colohan who was diagnosed with ataxia.
Although the disease can not be completely treated, teps can be taken to reduce its effects, and research is on-going into early diagnosis and prevention.
The main acts playing at the festival include The Stunning, Mick Flannery, Fight Like Apes, Wallis Bird, Hermitage Green, KILA, O Emperor, Kopek, David Kitt and Mark Geary, along with a host of others.
