The 'interpretive dance for my boss...' video has proven a recent viral YouTube hit, racking up an impressive 15.5 million views since its debut on the 28th of September. The video features Marina Shifrin announcing that she's quitting her job in no uncertain terms, dancing her way out of her two-year employment at a news video production company.
The music she chose to quit to is Gone by Kanye West, a release from his second album Late Registration, released back in 2005. The video has renewed so much interest in the song that it has entered the high-profile Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 18, a whole eight years after release. This is thanks to over 9,000 recent digital sales of the song, as well as over 6.2 million US streams. It also made number 4 on the dedicated streaming chart.
