Several telecommunication companies are set to hike their prices for the third April in a row.
Price comparison site, Bonkers.ie, have called for the Government to crack down on the increases which it claims could be ‘price signaling’.
Vodafone, Sky, Eir and Three are all increasing their TV, mobile and broadband prices next month.
On The Pat Kenny Show, tech correspondent Jess Kelly people need to shop around.
“I just feel, at the moment, that the consumer is at a loss, no matter what way they turn,” she said.
“There are deals to be had if you shop around; loyalty is dead, loyalty is long gone.
“I would say to you, if you’re paying more than €20 a month on your phone bill - there’s something wrong.”
