Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said it was 'amazing' to win the Carabao Cup final in front of fans at Wembley Stadium.
There were 2,000 City fans among almost 8,000 in attendance at the London ground to see Guardiola's side beat Tottenham 1-0.
Aymeric Laporte's goal in the 82nd minute was the difference as they clinched their fourth consecutive League Cup title.
Speaking to Sky Sports at full time, Guardiola said being back in front of fans made the win even more special.
“This is amazing in this period, like everyone in lockdown suffering, a different life. We played with personality from the first minute to try to win the game. We created a lot of chances.
“They had a few minutes, some shots and some counter-attacks that were dangerous, but in general, we played a really good game.”

With the victory, City equalise Liverpool's record for most League Cup titles won on eight.
They're also still in the hunt for a treble this season - currently sitting top of the Premier League and in the semi-finals of the Champions league.
Speaking about the relentless schedule Guardiola said;
“We don’t have time to work. Just the principles from the beginning so we know what to do and we just try to recover.
It is tough but it is what it is – the schedule is this way.”
The win also marks the manager's 30th title success in his career.
Guardiola played down this achievement though, saying “It’s good. I was in big clubs so that is why it is easier to do it.”
Meanwhile, man of the match Riyad Mahrez praised City’s focus and relentlessness in a tight match.
“It was a tough game - we knew it was going to be tough. We stayed focused, we kept dominating, we kept passing the ball and then scored.
"I think we deserved to win today.
“Obviously you are always scared because they are a good team, but we were very confident in our game and it’s a very good win.
“We get the trophy again and we are very happy.”
