There are only a handful of sleeps left until the most magical weekend of the year, but what is it that makes Body and Soul such a mega mini-festival?
Is it their impressive line up, the magical forest setting or the carefree and casual vibes that are synonymous with Ballinlough Castle? Why not celebrate Midsummer underneath the biggest supermoon of 2013 which will be lording over the skies this weekend.
Body and Soul’s gold star line up includes: Aussie brooder Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, über gal and sister in law to Jay-Z Solange , hipster wonder-kid Nicolas Jaar, and LCD Soundsystem head honcho James Murphy . Expect great things from bluesey empress Candice Gordon, Kildare whippersnapper MMOths and Post Punk high kings PiL.
Why not enjoy the realms of divilment that bring magic, mayhem and mellow times. Canter through Midnight Circus, join the Masquerade Ball or entertain the little folk at the Soul Kids area. How about relaxing in the orchard, dancing through the rose gardens, or enjoying an adventure around the winding laneways that surround the castle.
Whatever happens - expect the unexpected. Resistance is futile - it’s time to get your giddy face on.
