Stoke City have issued a statement condemning the continued abuse being suffered by their winger James McClean and his family.
The statement, released on Tuesday, comes after McClean's wife Erin revealed the extent of the abuse being suffered by the family on a 'daily' basis.
The English Championship club joined the FAI in offering continued support to their player while they also say that they are working with the authorities in an effort to deal with the problem.
"Stoke City strongly condemn the vile anti-social abuse James McClean and his family very sadly continue to find themselves subject to," reads the official club statement.
"The Club wish to reiterate their continued support for James, his wife Erin and their family.
"There is no place in society for discriminatory behaviour in any form and we believe anyone who thinks it acceptable to subject people to such abuse should be held accountable for their actions.
"We will continue to work with the authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice."
Watching him deal with this his entire career, so just having my say after 9 years of constant abuse. pic.twitter.com/5nEyujhpZw

Shortly after Erin McClean's statement was posted on social media last night, the FAI contacted the Stoke winger to offer their full support.
FAI CEO Jonathan Hill commented, "The FAI remains committed to safeguarding all of our players against any form of abuse on any social media platform.
"To abuse or threaten James or any player because of his nationality should not be tolerated by society. Unfortunately, such behaviour is all too common now on social media."
