The clean-up operation at Stradbally is well underway, and with that the Irish music festival season is officially over for another. Now we have a long, miserable winter before we can even start thinking about camping in a field with thousands of others for another weekend of music, alcohol and questionable toilet facilities.
With Electric Picnic and Oxegen still fresh in people's minds, this video from Plae Pen is a fine punctuation mark to a summer of festivities. It's both funny and perceptive, satrical yet often very accurate indeed. This writer particularly recognises the deep truths in the joke about cereal bars - they truly are the festival camper's best friend.

As an aside, this is as good an opportunity as any to salute the guy I saw at EP trying to smuggle in a can of beer into the main arena in his hoodie's hood. It was immediatedly confiscated, of course, but partial credit for effort.
