From November to January, each month is jam-packed with everything from gigs & live entertainment to festive fun and family events – there’s so many great reasons to make a trip to Dublin!
No matter what you’re looking for there’s something for everyone in Dublin this winter.
What's on?
The programme of events is packed with live gigs, comedy shows, theatre performances and festive family fun at key Dublin attractions all across the city.
November is 'Live in the City' month so there are live music, dance, theatre, comedy shows and other live performances happening in the city's many venues and on the streets almost every single day.
Some of the highlights for November include:
- Haunted by Tara Flynn - The Abbey (Nov 11th – Dec 3rd)
- If these wigs could talk by Panti Bliss - The Abbey (Nov 11th – Dec 3rd)
- Kendrick Lamar: The Big Steppers Tour - 3arena (Nov 13th & 14th )
- Nutcracker Sweeties - Gaiety Theatre (Nov 14th-17th)
- David O'Doherty: 'Woah is me' - Vicar Street (Nov 19th & 20th)
- A Winter Wonderland - National Concert Hall (Nov 29th)
For December, the focus will be on bringing families and friends together through the events happening to celebrate the festive season as Dublin twinkles under the gorgeous winter lights. One standout experience for everyone is The Wild Lights installation at Dublin Zoo, and of course, the annual New Year’s Festival!
As we enter 2023, January in the capital will be all about celebrating our culture and creativity at events like Temple Bar Tradfest where there will be a whole host of events from cosy pub sessions to shelter from the winter weather to large scale concerts at historical sites around the city and more.
