A woman has died in hospital after a crash in Cork earlier this week.

The woman, aged in her 60s, was seriously injured in the crash at Liskillea in Waterfall shortly after 4pm on Monday.

She was taken to CUH where she has since died.

It was a single-vehicle crash and she was the only person in the car.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.

They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area between 3:30pm and 4:15pm on Monday and may have dash cam footage.
