Bohemians manager Keith Long feels his side fully deserved the three points after a dramatic last-gasp win over Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
The sides were level 1-1 heading into nine minutes of injury time before Darragh Leahy struck in the dying moments to give the visitors the victory.
Speaking to Off the Ball's Oisin Langan after the match, Long said: "I thought our performance fully deserved the victory, the three points, although we got it late at the death.
"We would have been happy with a point but I thought our overall performance from the start to the finish deserved the three points.
"I'm really pleased tonight - it's a tough place to come. Rovers' home form has been good until tonight so we're pleased to come away with the win."
"The players have to be absolutely commended for that - they didn't let their heads drop at a goal down. I thought we created chances in the first half - we probably should have taken a goal or two.
"Like you said, we should have had a penalty. We've come in 1-0 down at half time and we asked the boys to go again in the second half, to be brave, to get on the ball, to try and manufacture situations where we can create goal-scoring opportunities.
"So, I thought we did that. We got two really good goals - two well taken goals and our play merited it - it was a fully deserved three points.
