Leinster captain Isa Nacewa has praised Garry Ringrose ahead of the side's Champions Cup quarter-final clash with Saracens on Sunday.

The international break for the 6 Nations means the Leinster side taking the field this weekend haven't played together in a couple of months.

"That's always the worry - the cohesiveness of the unit takes time to build," he told Off the Ball's Oisin Langan. "Obviously after November which was a shorter campaign - you had 11 games in a row to build that - guys coming and going but the end of that was Exeter back-to-back and Montpelier and Glasgow.

"So, you have time to build things. It's a rapid change from winning a Grand Slam to coming back into camp and preparing for Easter Sunday and a quarter-final.

"It's a different way of doing it. Seven or eight years ago, you had an extra week to prepare so it has its challenges and both teams have those challenges and you've just got to get on with it in reality and get prepared.

Nacewa will partner Garry Ringrose in the centre against Saracens and was quick to pay tribute to the Irish international.

"He's lightyears ahead of most people on the pitch at times so he's very easy to play with. He communicates really well - he communicates clearly. You know I think it's one of his strengths that when it actually comes time to make tackles, make decisions - he's very quick to make them so I support Garry 110% and just go out there and just try and bounce off each other as best we can," he added.
