Newstalk’s resident business guru Bobby Kerr has partnered up with Europcar to learn about how its flexible fleet and customised vehicles can offer Irish businesses the freedom they need to deliver for their clients.
The company has been continuously expanding in recent years, building upon its traditional car rental model to become a ‘total mobility service.’
Over the next three weeks, Bobby will be hitting the road with three Irish businesses to see how its Business Fleet Services can offer a truly flexible alternative to leasing.
Kicking off the series, Bobby went out and about with Frank Morley, CEO of Corporate Care Relocation Ireland, to see Europcar’s Corporate Car Sharing service in action.
The service provides access to a huge range of different vehicles, at a moment’s notice, through the company’s downloadable app.
The vehicles can be picked up from any of the company’s locations around the country – making taxis and short term rentals a thing of the past.
The service includes a fuel management card, breakdown services and a dedicated account manager – with billing for all journeys provided on one invoice.
Corporate Care Relocation Ireland has been taking care of the personal needs of people who are moving to Ireland for work for more than 20 years.
Mr Morley said the company has been working with Europcar for “many years” and, for him, the benefits of the Corporate Car Sharing service are clear – you have exclusive use of top quality vehicles that don’t need to be serviced, don’t need to be maintained and are there when they are needed.
“We do everything for people,” he said.
“These are largely corporate clients – so they expect to be picked up in a car that is clean and new and well maintained.
“They will be in our cars a lot and it is really important that they are in an environment that is clean and fresh and modern; one that they are comfortable and happy to be in.”
Next week, Bobby will be heading out with Emma Heffernan, account manager at market solutions firm PRL, to find out how she uses Europcar in the day-to-day workings of her business.
