For the next week, Classic Football Shirts are in Dublin with a pop-up store at 10 South Anne Street.
The company, based in Manchester and London, has an extensive collection of iconic and forgotten jerseys. And this week, Ciaran Gold popped into studio to chat to me on Team 33 and showed us a few of the jerseys in their collection.
The Classic Football Shirts
So the ones Ciaran displayed for us were the following:
- Netherlands 1988
- Ireland 1990
- Liverpool 1989/90
- Cork City 1993/94
- Italy 1994
- Manchester United 1999
And we also showed Ciaran some other jerseys to gauge his opinion, including a few Ireland kits of yore. Plus, we also got his opinion on the new monochrome Ireland kit!
You can watch the full chat with Ciaran above via our YouTube channel.
You can check out the full Classic Football Shirts collection here on their website. For details on how you can pop down to the pop-up store, click here.
You'll also be able to listen in to the full chat as a podcast. We'll release this week's full show on Wednesday along with Jonathan Higgins' interview with NFL kicker Josh Lambo, who has a background in soccer. And if you've got classic football shirts you want us to discuss, tweet Team 33 here.
