The countdown to the Christmas season is officially on, as the trailer for this year's 'Late Late Toy Show' has been released.
The trailer goes for a traditional Christmas feel - taking inspiration from the classic children's story 'The Nutcracker'.
A young girl settles down to sleep with a snow globe beside her.
As she sleeps, the snow globe comes to life with a toy soldier - played by 'Late Late Toy Show' host Ryan Tubridy - who is joined by the girl and her friends.
The advert debuts on RTÉ One on Thursday night.
Fans will also get an insight into how the programme is put together in a three-part documentary series, 'The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped', starting on Wednesday, November 29th.
But the chance to be in the lottery for tickets to this year's show has passed, with the process closing earlier this week.
Organisers say they received more than 140,000 applications.
This year's Toy Show will air on Friday, December 1st.
