There's been a wee war of words of late from a couple of familiar figures from the Tyrone fraternity.
The likes of Sean Cavanagh and Philip Jordan have disagreed publicly over the former's criticism of the way things are going for the Tyrone senior team under Mickey Harte of late. Tyrone lost their Ulster Championship opener against Monaghan, setting up a tricky path through the qualifiers, and the issue of style has been a bone of contention for some.
Cavanagh's ex-Tyrone team-mate Gavin Devlin has also had a pop at his former inter-county colleague, pondering why he didn't air his grievances while still in the panel rather than doing so in his current capacity as a pundit.
Ex-Tyrone footballer Brian McGuigan joined us on Off The Ball to preview the weekend's action and revealed the light-hearted way former Tyrone players are reacting to the tensions.
"It's actually funny because the '03 team has a Whatsapp group. The Whatsapp group started because we're playing the '02 Armagh team in three weeks time for a charity match," he said.
"We've a Whatsapp group and it actually started yesterday where I think Mugsy [Owen Mulligan] started it and he wanted to know who'd win a fight between Gavin and Sean Cavanagh. There was a bit of banter going on there.

"But look, it's a hard one to call because Sean's in the media now and yes, maybe Philip's right and he's trying to make a name for himself. But it was interesting when I was listening to Aidan O'Mahony on your show and you were talking about the media and he was saying in 10 years time he wants to be able to meet somebody and have a coffee with them. So there is that thing about loyalty and there's a fine line between loyalty and trying to be honest when you are in the media. But who's right and who's wrong? I don't know. It's just sad the way it's been escalated in the media to be honest with you."
