Keith Wood wants to see Joey Carbery play at "10, 10, 10!"
Former Ireland captain Wood joined Wednesday Night Rugby to discuss Carbery's performance in their 38-0 win over the Cheetahs, and is clear in where his best position is.
"I just want to see him play 10, 10, 10 and 10! We need him for Munster but we need him for Ireland, and you need to have those options.
"He has got unbelievable feet, and a lot of that gets missed sometimes by fans. But he puts himself into space, and other lads into space, because they have no idea whether he is going left or right, and that is something that is really good.
"He does see things early and he has got serious gas. Even if it is not over 50 metres, it is the gas over 3, 4 or 5 metres that puts defences under huge amounts of pressure."
"He had a beautiful kick into touch and was doing the types of things that you want to see guys doing. He did not just kick it into the corner - he kicked it right into the corner, a metre from the line.
"He got a good reaction from the crowd, he will have much sterner tests ahead, but I will say that it was nice to see him in a red jersey, as much as I know that might upset people!"
