According to the Gender Diversity Report from Hays Ireland, 52% of Irish employees think new fathers aren't taking their paternity leave.
250 men and women were surveyed and nearly 40% of fathers said they feared that if they took their full entitlement, it would have a negative impact on their finances. A further 28% said they feared that if they took the full paternity leave, they may be viewed as being less committed to their career.
