Joe Molloy was joined by Sunday Independent writers' Paul Kimmage and Dermot Gilleece to look back at the week's big talking points on the Sunday Paper Review. 

This week's segment was broadcast live, on-location, from Ballyliffin Golf Club as the Irish Open drew to a close.

The tournament's festival feel this year has built on the hard work of Rory McIlroy over the recent past which has seen a revival in its fortunes and Kimmage was quick to pay tribute to his efforts over the years.  

England's progression to the World Cup semi-finals was also one of the major talking points as was the scandal-ridden Tour de France, which kicked off on Saturday.
