It hasn't been an enjoyable build-up to the Republic of Ireland's opening UEFA Nations League game against Wales on Thursday night.
Martin O'Neill has had to deal with issues surrounding Declan Rice's future and whether the West Ham player wants to represent the Republic of Ireland in the future.
He later revealed that there had been a disagreement between Roy Keane and Harry Arter which has led to Arter's absence from the panel ahead of the game. To make matters worse, the Derryman will have to plan without James McClean who suffered a broken wrist in training.
On Wednesday's OTB AM, Dave, Ger and Eoin discussed the pros and cons of retaining the current management duo until the end of their current deal in 2020.

Pros ranged from a lack of alternatives, experience on the side of the duo and that their track record is largely good - including qualifying for a first major tournament in 14 years in 2016.
Cons, however, ranged from O'Neill's perceived inability to set up his team to Keane's record in management and the team's current playing style.
Do you think it's time to start looking for new candidates for the role?
